ONE FC has two new stars for their roster with the signing of welterweight Nobutatsu Suzuki and flyweight Yasuhiro Urushitani.
Suzuki fought out of ZST going 6-0. His lone defeat was when he debuted for VTJ in 2012. He suffered a first round submission out of the promotion to Keita Nakamura. Before that, Suzuki had finished his previous opponents.
Urushitani was recently released by the UFC. He joined their roster as part of the new flyweight division and was entered into the tournament to crown the inaugural champion. Joseph Benavidez took him out with a TKO in round two and John Lineker earned a unanimous decision. Before Urushitani became a member of the UFC, he was the bantamweight champion for Shooto.
Neither are currently booked for a fight, but Suzuki is rumored to face Phil Baroni.
ONE FC returns with their ninth show on May 31 out of the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It will be their second show this year. They can be seen across Asia on ESPN International and other parts of the country can watch them online for $9.99.
