Trevor Prangley hasn’t had the most monumental of careers, but for over a decade he gave his time to the MMA community. It appears that his current run will be his final one.
“I consider this being my last year,” said Prangley to MMA Weekly. “I turn 41 this year, and I’ve had a long, good run and there’s no need to push my luck.”
Prangley had runs in the UFC and Strikeforce. His biggest fight was a decision loss to Chael Sonnen in his final UFC appearance in 2006. After losing four out of five, Prangley finished his four opponents last year. Three of those wins came for KOTC.
Brandon Anderson will look to end that streak in his debut for the promotion.
They meet for KOTC later today, February 22, from the Alene Casino Resort in Worley, ID.
“I’ve accomplished what I set out to in this sport and whatever happens is icing on the top,” said Prangley.
