Suzie Montero Feels Like A New Woman Ahead Of XFC Debut

Suzie Montero tasted defeat for the first time last year in her short career. That loss changed her and it will show at Xtreme Fighting Championship (XFC) tonight.

“There’s really no comparison,” said Montero to MMA Weekly. “It’s such a huge difference. I feel like a new person. I believe that I will be able to a whole different Suzie Montero when I fight at the XFC.”

She gets to test her skills against Pearl Gonzalez.

Montero is 1-1 in her career. She is coming off a TKO loss to Jessamyn Duke out of Invicta FC. After five consecutive wins in her amateur career, Pearl Gonzalez dropped a decision to Munah Holland for Ring of Combat less than two weeks ago.

Montero vs. Gonzalez fight at XFC 22 later today, February 22, from the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, NC. AXS TV will air the main card.
