Brendan Schaub doesn’t plan to spend more than five minutes with Lavar Johnson when they meet this weekend at UFC 157.
“The judges, they can go on their coffee break or do whatever they do on their off time,” said Schaub on MMA Junkie Radio. “I guarantee you this one’s not going to a decision.”
Seven of Schaub’s wins have come by knockout, with most taking place in the first round. He currently sits on a two fight losing streak.
Johnson has 17 career wins, all having been stopped. Last year, he was 2-1 with the wins coming out of the opening around. His last fight saw Stefan Struve submit him a minute into the contest.
Schaub vs. Johnson are scheduled as the main event of the preliminary card for UFC 157. That happens from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. The main event of the night sees history made has Ronda Rousey defends her bantamweight championship against Liz Carmouche in the first female fight under the UFC name.
