UFC Rankings See Handful Of Changes From First Release

The second set of UFC rankings have been released, and the majority of change came at the lightweight ranks.

Gilbert Melendez, the former Strikeforce 155-pound champion, moved into the No. 1 spot at lightweight behind champion Benson Henderson. The two will meet in April at UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Melendez.

Also, Anthony Pettis was voted second in the division, followed by Gray Maynard. Pettis will challenge UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo later this year.

In the overall Top-10, interim UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao replaced Frankie Edgar, coming in at No. 9.
