PXC 35 Results: Harris Sarmiento Defends Lightweight Championship

Pacific Xtreme Combat (PXC) 35 saw the promotion put on their first show of the year and witnessed the lightweight title being defended.

In the main event, Harris Sarmiento needed only the opening round as he submitted Isaiah Ordiz with a kimura in the closing minute. The lightweight champion is now 5-3 for the promotion. It was the first loss for Ordiz in his three fight career.

Immediately following the bout, Sarmiento called out Mark Striegl, who was in attendance, for a rematch from their featherweight fight the year prior. Striegl took a first round submission in that encounter.

PXC 35 took place February 16 from Ynares Sports Arena in the Philippines.
