Michael Bisping might have taken a beating in his last fight, but that hasn’t stopped the Britain from trash talking. The most recent causality is his next opponent, Alan Belcher.
“I just truly believe I have way too much for him in every department and there ain’t going to be no tactical game plan in this one, just going to be a case of me going straight at him and basically just obliterating him within one round and that’s what I plan on doing,” said Bisping to Addicted MMA.
The two fight at UFC 159.
Belcher returned last year going 1-1. Due to injuries, it was the first time since 2009 that he fought more than once in a year. His first round knockout against Rousimar Palhares was followed by a decision loss to Yushin Okami at UFC 155 in late December.
Bisping was promised what would have been his first shot at any gold, if he could defeat Vitor Belfort. The middleweight contest ended in the second round with Belfort winning after a kick to the head followed by strikes.
They meet at UFC 159 from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on April 27.
