UFC president Dana White hinted that the ultimate goal for his promotion was to hold an event in Madison Square Garden this year. However, with pro MMA being outlawed in the state of New York, that seemed hopeless.
Well, Zuffa attorneys and the state of New York have been battling it out in court today, and Rebellion Media’s own Jim Genia is currently on hand. It appears the two sides have found a loophole that could allow the UFC to hold an event in New York soon.
