A new TV deal has Legend FC (LFC) airing on AXN and ESPN International, which means better recognition for middleweight champion Wenbo Liu.
The promotion will now be seen throughout Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Deals are currently in motion to stream shows via Drama Fever and Hulu.
“It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and makes me feel like a successful athlete,” said Liu to MMA Weekly. “It means I can earn more money to support my family. It is also a humbling experience, driving me to work harder to not let my fans down.”
In 2012, Liu took a pair of wins, including the championship which he earned within the first round. He is 2-1 for LFC with his last fight being in August.
Liu wants to keep defending his middleweight championship and eventually win a worldwide title.
LFC has not put on a show since Liu defended his title over the summer.
