Invicta FC just added two bantamweight contests to their upcoming show.
Former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman takes on Leslie Smith and Kaitlin Young meets Amanda Nunes.
Kaufman comes off an injury and championship loss to Ronda Rousey during the summer. The loss made her 15-2. Smith is 2-0 for Invicta FC with a second round TKO over Kaitlin Young and decision win over Raquel Pennington.
Young is coming off back-to-back losses. She was choked out by current UFC No. 1 contender Liz Carmouche and Smith out punched her in October. Nunes is 1-1 for the promotion, coming off a decision loss on the last show in early January.
Invicta FC 5 has no date and location, but the promotion’s president Shannon Knapp is looking at April 5 as a likely date.
The show is headlined with atomweight champion Jessica Penne vs. Michelle Waterson.
