The Season 5 tournament winner Alexander Shlemenko meets Season 6 tournament winner Maiquel Falcão for the middleweight gold. Hector Lombard vacated the championship when he signed with the UFC in April 2012.
The Season 8 featherweight tournament begins with all opening round fights. The main card sees Marlon Sandro vs. Akop Stepanyan, Fabricio Guerreiro vs. Magomedrasul Khasbulaev and Mitch Jackson vs. Mike Richman.
The final featherweight tournament fight headlines the preliminary card with Alexandre Bezerra vs. Genair da Silva.
