The Ultimate Fighter, Bellator, Cung Le: The Morning News Roundup – 2.6.13

On last night’s episode of “The Ultimate Fighter”, viewers got clued in to what most of us here in the Northeast have known for years: Uriah Hall is a scary, scary dude. In what was heavily (and rightfully) hyped as one of the most devastating knockouts in the sport, Team Sonnen standout Hall was paired up against an extremely overmatched Adam Cella, and, well, yeesh. If the improved production value of TUF this season hasn’t sold you on the show, the heightened level of violence ought to do it. On to the news!

• Here’s a nice little video clip of Hall’s highlight-reel action from last night. Watch and enjoy.

• Bellator and SpikeTV revealed some details on their upcoming reality TV show. “Fight Master” is what it’s called, and Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock, Greg Jackson and Joe Warren are coaches, the fighters will all be welterweights, and $100,000 and a slot in an upcoming tournament are the stakes. Here’s MMAFighting with video from the press conference.

• In case you missed it, FightLine interviewed veteran fighter Cung Le. Here’s part one. Part two is coming today.
