Chris Leben appears to have learned his lesson, as the UFC fighter sent out a message on Twitter Tuesday that he has been free of painkillers for over a year.
Leben, who appeared on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, was suspended for a year after failing a post-fight drug test for two banned substances. He returned in December, but was defeated by Derek Brunson.
Leben (22-9) reached the semifinals of TUF, and is a former WEC middleweight champion. He has competed in 20 UFC bouts at 185 pounds, a record for the promotion, and four times earned Knockout of the Night.
