Lorenz Larkin has signed on with Paradigm Sports Management. Larkin recently crossed over from Strikeforce to the UFC, and is expected to compete in the middleweight division.
Prior to Strikeforce closing, Larkin (13-0) had been awarded a shot at champion Luke Rockhold. However, Rockhold was injured and could not make the bout.
“I chose Paradigm because we share similar views on the direction of my career,” Larkin said. “I believe this will be a great business partnership.”
Larkin went 4-0 in his Strikeforce career, with one no-contest in a match with Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal at light heavyweight. He moved down to 185 pounds after the Lawal bout, which he lost but had overturned to a no-contest after Lawal failed his post-fight drug test.
The 26-year-old Larkin does not have a scheduled opponent set for his Octagon debut.
