A veteran of the UFC’s lightweight and welterweight division, Marcus Davis recently announced that he signed with Bellator and will compete for them next month.

No terms or possible first opponent were disclosed by Davis.
During his six plus years with the UFC, Davis picked up notable wins over Shonie Carter, Pete Spratt and Chris Lytle after competing on season two of The Ultimate Fighter. By doing so, Davis also took Fight of the Night honors five times. After going 1-5 in his last outings, the UFC released him in January 2011. He has since improved by going 4-1 on the Indy scene.
As Davis approaches 40-years-old, it seems that Bellator might be his last chance to make a name in a top MMA promotion.
Bellator 93 comes from The Androscoggin Colisee in Lewiston, ME on March 21. The show airs on Spike TV.
