Gleison Tibau vs. Evan Dunham

The prelim main event features lightweights Gleison Tibau (26-8) and Evan Dunham (13-3). The referee will be Yves Lavigne.

Round 1: This should be interesting, as both fighters are lefties. Dunham fires off a quick left-right combo that sneaks by the defense. Another left by Dunham lands, and Tiaby fires back and we have a fight. Tibau cutting off Dunham and shoots, scoring a takedown and cranking on a front choke. Tibau drops down with the choke and mounts, but is unable to keep hold of the choke. Dunham powers to his feet and gets free. Tibau with a nice knee, and blocks a Superman punch with a quick counter. With a minute to go, Tibau looks exhausted, and Dunham appears quite fresh.

Round 2: Good exchange of hooks, with Dunham’s landing more flush. Quick right connects by Dunham, as Tibau fires off a counter left. Dunham shoots for the takedown, kneeing the leg to try and break him down. Dunham is also leaning on Tibau, forcing him to carry his weight and wearing him down even quicker. Tibau is definitely looking tired, but he seems to have a bit more pep in his step. Dunham ducks a strike and goes for a double-leg, but is denied. Combo lands by Dunham, as he takes his round.

Round 3: Dunham comes straight out, and throws a straight kick, at Tibau, who shoots and gets the takedown. Tibau working hard for a guillotine choke, attempting two of them right off the bat. Dunham defends and gets free of the choke. Left hook connects by Dunham. Stiff left by Dunham, as Tibau goes for another takedown but it gets defended. Tibau nearly trips himself, but is able to still stuff a takedown attempt. Stiff jab lands by Dunham, as does a quick right uppercut. Flying knee by Dunham to close out, likely sealing the round and possibly the fight.
