Bellator will touchdown on new ground for Bellator 93, when they hold their first show from Maine.
The finals of the Season 8 welterweight tournament, as well as the debut of kickboxing world champion Michael Page and MMA return of Marcus Davis was also announced.
“We are always looking to bring Bellator MMA to new markets, and the historic Androscoggin Bank Colisee will make a fantastic host to our March 21st event live on Spike TV,” said Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney.
The remaining fights in the current welterweight tournament include Brent Weedman vs. Douglas Lima and Raul Amaya vs. Ben Saunders.
Davis was 9-5 under the UFC name before he was released after five years with the promotion. He lost four of his last five, resulting in the release. He’s now 4-1, including two decision wins out of MFC.
Page made his debut in 2012 with three fights. He ended all of those in round one in less than a total of five minutes.
Bellator 93 comes from The Androscoggin Colisee in Lewiston, ME on March 21. The show airs on Spike TV.
