Mike Pyle, who is currently on a three-fight win streak inside the UFC, has branched out to train at Syndicate MMA. The 37-year-old recently discussed the change from Xtreme Couture with Caged Insider.
“Syndicate is home,” Pyle said. “The doors (at Xtreme Couture) are always open, I just wanted a change. It was the same thing every day, same thing in and out. That’s all.”
Pyle (24-8-1) was a surprise in 2012, posting a 3-0 record with all three victories coming by knockout or TKO. He finished James Head, Josh Neer and Ricardo Funch in the first round of each fight.
“New coaches (offering new looks is) all there is to (the gym change),” Pyle added. “No bad blood, no animosity; that’s all there is to it.”
Pyle does not have a fight lined up, but is expecting his first child with his wife of three-plus years. Check out the complete interview with Pyle in the video below:
