As Jamie Lowe prepares for her MMA debut, she isn’t about naming any particular fighters who helped propel women in the sport. She thinks it took the help of all females who have spent years trying to find a place in a male dominated sport.
“I really think it’s all about timing,” said Lowe to Bleacher Report. “We have a lot of amazing women in this sport that put themselves out there against all odds, and that’s what it takes.”
Lowe makes her debut at CFFC 19 against Sumie Saka. They meet from the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ this Saturday, February 2.
Headlining the card will be Julian Lane, a former contestant on the recent season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Lowe said she plans to compete for as long as God wants her to.
