Randy Couture Headed To Spike TV As Part Of Bellator’s Reality Series

According to a report by Sports Illustrated, former UFC champion Randy Couture will be part of the upcoming Bellator MMA reality series set to air on Spike TV. An official announcement will be made next Tuesday during a conference call. FightLine will be providing complete coverage of the call.

Couture, who was the first fighter to ever hold UFC titles in multiple divisions, retired with an overall record of 19-11 in 2011. He has worked on several major motion movies, including both films in The Expendables series.

Couture is expected to serve as a coach on the reality series, which begins shooting next month and airs later in 2013. “The Natural” was part of the UFC broadcast team for several events.

The report indicated that Couture reached an agreement with Viacom and Spike TV in late December.
