Following the release of nine fighters last week, it is being reported that four more UFC fighters have been given their walking papers. MMA Opinion is reporting that Ken Stone, Byron Bloodworth, Pedro Nobre and Josh Janousek have all been released.
Stone went 2-2 during his UFC career, including a recent loss to Erik Perez. He had put together a pair of victories prior to the defeat after coming over from the WEC.
Bloodworth went 0-2 inside the Octagon, while Nobre fought Yuri Alcantara to a no-contest last weekend. The bout caught the attention of UFC president Dana White, who called Nobre a great “actor” for remaining on the mat following what the referee in charge ruled as illegal strikes to the back of the head.
Janousek was signed to face Michael Kuiper this weekend as an injury replacement, but the fight was called off. Janousek was to make his debut vs. Kuiper.
