Felice Herrig (8-4) isn’t afraid to flaunt her body around and wants to hush the naysayers who believe she uses sex appeal to make a name for herself in MMA. Herrig calls her appeal apart of the job and doesn’t think that she’s hurting the sport by taking part in risqué photos.
“I need to do these things to further my career and keep the sponsors happy,” posted Herrig on MMA TV. “None of what I do outside of fighting with the media and photo shoots in a supplement for the hard training and fighting or to mask a lack of talent.”
Herrig placed herself as number five in WMMA rankings and number two in muay thai.
In 2009 Herrig made her professional debut, losing her first two fights. She is 2-0 out of Bellator, which was the last promotion she competed out of in the middle of December. She currently is riding a career high with three wins in a row. Of her eight wins, only two have come via stoppage.
Her next fight is not known.
