Bellator 86 Set With Welterweight Championship, Five Tournament Fights

In the main event, Ben Askren (10-0) puts his undefeated streak and welterweight championship against Karl Amoussou (16-4-2), who finished two of his tournament opponents in the first round by way of submission.

The co-main event has the debut of Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (8-1-1 NC) against the relatively unknown Przemyslaw Mysiala (16-7). Both are making their debut for the promotion and are taking part in the opening round of the light heavyweight tournament.

Three opening round welterweight tournament fights round out the main card. The final opening round bout in the welterweight tournament closes the preliminary card.

Bellator 86 comes from the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, OK. Spike TV airs the main card with a start time of 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary fights can be seen at starting at 8 p.m. ET.
