Tito Ortiz knows what it feels like to be cheered when you are defeated. So, Saturday night, Ortiz offered up some advice to Michael Bisping, who was defeated by Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX: Belfort vs. Bisping.
Bisping, a former winner of The Ultimate Fighter, would have secured a UFC middleweight title shot with a win. Instead, Belfort thrilled the Brazilian crowd with his second round TKO triumph.
“Keep your head up,” Ortiz sent to Bisping via Twitter. “Lose some win some. To fight another day will happen. Hate or love they all care!”
Ortiz retired from MMA last year after a loss to Forrest Griffin. He currently is working with several fighters as their manager, including Cris Cyborg.
