The UFC has been quick to add fighters to the promotions official website in the past. The latest involves Josh Barnett, a former UFC heavyweight champion who recently competed for Strikeforce.
Barnett (31-6) has not fought inside the Octagon since 2002, when he defeated Randy Couture. He failed his post-fight drug test, and was eventually released due to contract issues.
Barnett went on a lengthy win streak that was snapped by Daniel Cormier last year. “The Warmaster” rebounded to defeat Nandor Guelmino last weekend.
While there has been no word from Barnett or the UFC concerning a potential contract, you can view Barnett’s profile on UFC.com.
