Donald Cerrone: Nothing Personal With Anthony Pettis

Donald Cerrone (19-4-1 NC) has nothing personal against Anthony Pettis (15-2). When it pertains to them climbing up the lightweight division, it’s simply business.

“It’s nothing personal towards Anthony Pettis,” said Cerrone. “I’m not picking him out of a big group of guys. He’s just the next guy inline to get to that title. Obviously, I’m going to go after him and let’s fight.”

Cerrone comes into their encounter 6-1 since becoming a part of the UFC. His only loss was to former No. 1 contender Nate Diaz. He is on a two fight win streak. Pettis is 2-1 for the UFC and will be making his return after being out of action for almost a year due to nagging injuries.

The two lightweights meet at UFC on FOX 6 on the main card. Cerrone vs. Pettis is set for January 26 from the United Center in Chicago, IL.
