UFC president Dana White was asked last month how Nick Diaz has been in regards to preparing for all the media obligations that go with his UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz title fight with UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.
As you likely remember, Diaz was pulled from a planned title match with GSP after no-showing several press events. White said that Diaz hasn’t been returning his calls or texts lately, but doesn’t appear worried.
Cesar Gracie, trainer and manager for Diaz, took to Twitter recently to let White – and the rest of the MMA world – know that Diaz will show up come March in Montreal.
@danawhite Nick rarely responds to my texts also but don’t worry he will be at the presser and more importantly at the fight!
