Melvin Guillard’s (30-12-2-1 NC) winning ways have seen better days. It’s led UFC president Dana White to question the future of the former The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) contestant.
“I don’t know as far as being cut,” said White at post fight for UFC 155. “We’ll talk to the boys and see.”
In 2005, Guillard competed on the TUF though failed to advance past the opening round. He has dropped to 1-4 after his most recent loss to Jamie Varner (21-7-1-2 NC) at UFC 155. Prior to that Guillard had racked up five straight wins, which included three first round stoppages.
The UFC has not made a final decision, but White said he likes how Guillard constantly pushes in his fights.
