The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) has signed another fighter this week, in the form of featherweight and collegiate wrestler Jerrod Sanders (11-1). The number of dates on the contract was not revealed.
Sanders comes to the promotion with only one loss out of Bellator in his short career. In 2012, Sanders had four victories, but that didn’t top his 2011 record. That year, he went 6-1. He debuted in 2010 and only fought once that year.
There has been no opponent or date for when Sanders will debut. Rumors have the WSOF returning to action around February, though nothing has been confirmed. The promotion debuted in November with a main event that saw former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski defeat Devin Cole.
Earlier in the week, the WSOF signed former WEC middleweight champion Paulo Filho to a contract.
