Jiu-Jitsu legend Gene LeBell thinks that Ronda Rousey (6-0) is one of the toughest individuals to ever compete in MMA. LeBell, who has coached Rousey, sees her as nearly unstoppable.
“Ronda beats a good percentage of the men who are bigger than her — and good ones too,” said LeBell to Fighters. “She doesn’t fool around. There’s no sitting down and signing autographs. It’s all business to her.”
Rousey defends her newly appointed UFC women’s championship against Liz Carmouche (7-2). LeBell said the fight would last roughly 30 seconds.
“Nothing bothers her,” said LeBell. “She’s got ice water running in her veins. She doesn’t give a damn about pressure. She’s a sadistic wench.”
Rousey vs. Carmouche headlines UFC 157 on February 23. They meet from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. They make UFC history as the first female fight under the promotion’s banner.
