The debut of “Bellator 360” averaged 487,000 viewers based off the two shows that aired last night on Spike TV.
The first episode, which aired at 10 p.m., averaged 461,000 viewers. That featured the Bellator 58 lightweight champion fight between Eddie Alvarez and Michel Chandler.
The second episode, which immediately followed at 11 p.m., saw an increase with 513,000 viewers. On that show, Alexander Shlemenko and Maiquel Falcao were highlighted. Those two meet at Bellator 88 on February 7.
“We drew just under a million viewers [in total] without heavy promotion,” said David Schwarz, Spike TV senior vice president of communications to MMA Weekly. “We are very encouraged by it… especially with the growth in the second hour.”
Bellator officially debuts on Spike TV with live fights beginning with Bellator 85 on January 17.
