Yushin Okami (28-7) has bounced back from back-to-back losses to end the year on a high note. This year, Okami improved his UFC record to 12-4 with a pair of wins, with the most recent being a unanimous decision victory over Alan Belcher (18-7) at UFC 155 this past Saturday night.
Before his current two-fight win streak, Okami was on a two fight skid that included losses to middleweight champion Anderson Silva (33-4) and Tim Boetsch (16-5). Now, Okami looks on improving inside the Octagon and is ready for whatever fight will improve his position in the division.
“I have no idea [who I’m fighting next],” said Okami through a translator to MMA Fighting. “I want to fight any top fighter.”
