Jim Miller (21-4) has fought four times in the last two years and has gone 2-2, but he’s not pleased with his performances.
“I haven’t been satisfied with a fight for coming up on two years now and it’s really been eating at me,” said Miller to MMA Junkie Radio. “I want to get in there and do everything I’m capable of.”
Before the year concludes, Miller will have another chance for that special fight when he takes on Joe Lauzon (22-7). Miller is coming off a title eliminator loss to Nate Diaz (16-8) and Lauzon earned a submission win over Jamie Varner (20-7-1-2 NC) at UFC on FOX 5.
Even Miller’s first round knockout of Melvin Guillard (30-11-2-1 NC) wasn’t satisfying enough.
“I want to go in and make somebody look bad,” said Miller. “I want to beat him up and be dominant from bell to bell. I try to be my own biggest critic and really push myself.”
Miller vs. Lauzon is the co-main event of UFC 155 from Las Vegas, NV. The final PPV of the year airs this Saturday, December 29.
