After what seemed like a possible trend towards better numbers, this past Friday’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter 16 recorded the lowest numbers in the eight-year history of the program.
Just 624,000 viewers – a 0.49 household rating – tuned in, according to information obtained by MMAjunkie.com. The episode featured Igor Araujo of Team Shane Carwin defeating Nic Herron-Webb from Team Roy Nelson.
The show was just the fifth-most watched in the key male 18-34-year-old demographic. The season was averaging 923,500 viewers per episode prior to last Friday.
