Donald Cerrone’s (19-4-1 NC) choice to be actively involved in extreme sports, while under contract to the UFC, may spell some trouble since the company doesn’t want their fighters to risk getting injured.
“I guess I’ll have to sit down with Dana [White] to figure it out,” said Cerrone to Alienware. “That’s who I am. I’m just wild and crazy and I need these things to keep me.”
Cerrone noted that he takes part in many activities that the UFC may not be pleased with.
“I need to keep fighting because that’s how I can fund these boats and stuff,” said Cerrone. “They say you cannot go snowboarding, wakeboarding, bungee jump, horse racing, [and] all kinds of ridiculous things. I have horses and I cannot mount them so I do not know.”
For Cerrone’s next fight, he is rumored to fight Anthony Pettis (15-2) with the winner becoming No. 1 contender to the lightweight championship.
