UFC president Dana White always says that he listens to the fans when it comes to fights they want to see. Which is why White seems to be working towards putting together a potential super-fight between UFC champions Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva.
However, now it seems that White is also looking to make the next super-fight, as he discussed on AXS TV’s Inside MMA recently. That would pit Silva vs. Jon Jones.
“As you start to get to a point where Anderson is in his career, he’s beat everybody, he broken every record,” White said. “If he wins against Georges St-Pierre, I guarantee you he’ll be eyeballing Jon Jones next.”
Before the GSP-Silva fight can take off, St-Pierre must defeat Carlos Condit in November. The two will compete to unify the UFC welterweight titles at UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit.
Jones, meanwhile, is scheduled to defend his title at UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort against Vitor Belfort. Silva does not have a future bout set as this point.
