Witness the story of the original winner of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Forrest Griffin (19-7) in a documentary set to air tonight, September 5, on FUEL TV.
The 90 minute documentary titled Forrest Griffin: The Ultimate Fighter shows how the former Georgia police officer turned a hobby of MMA into a career.
Griffin would go on his career to fight current and future hall of famers. In the process he would become the second fighter from the TUF to win a championship when he defeated Quinton Jackson (32-10) for the light heavyweight title. He would also act as a coach on the seventh season of TUF.
The documentary is narrated by Griffin with archived footage and interviews from those who know him best.
TUF has been credited for helping launch not only Griffin’s career, but keeping the UFC alive during financial woes in 2004.
It debuts tonight at 11 P.M. Eastern Time
