The woman who Ken Shamrock (28-15-2) allegedly attacked at a California mall gave her side of the story and told TMZ if charges aren’t filed, she will file a lawsuit. Earlier in the week, Shamrock claims to have attempted to break up a girl-on-girl brawl. When he thought a male jumped on his back he fought back, but it turned out to be a female.
The woman, Melinda Garcia, says she is clearly of the female sex and Shamrock told her to break up the fight. He then punched her in the face for not stopping it sooner. When Garcia’s mother stepped in, she alleges that Shamrock struck her too. Garcia claimed once police arrived Shamrock stopped assaulting her.
Moments after the brawl, Garcia texted her sister that a male had punched her three times.
A representative for Shamrock said the UFC Hall of Famer doesn’t believe he did anything wrong and only acted in self-defense.
