Bellator 73 Results: Vegh, Galvao Secure Tourney Crowns

Attila Vegh dropped Travis Wiuff with a strong right-hand to the head just 25 seconds into their “Summer Series” light heavyweight finale, earning the win and tournament title in the process Friday night at Bellator 73. The fight took the main event billing after Pat Curran was forced to pull out of a bout with Patricio Freire.

In the co-main event, Marcos Galvao secured himself a future Bellator bantamweight title shot with a TKO victory over Luis Nogueira via strikes in the second round.

Vegh will now receive a match with Bellator 205-pound champion Christian M’Pumbu, while Galvao takes on Eduardo Dantas.
