Cesar Gracie confirmed on Twitter recently that both Nate and Nick Diaz, along with Jake Shields and Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez will all appear on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
The Gracie-trained fighters will be part of Roy Nelson’s coaching staff. Nelson will compete opposite Shane Carwin on the show, which will begin airing this September.
“Our guys will be helping (Nelson) coach his team (Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, Shields, Melendez) will be in the next TUF,” Gracie posted.
This will be the 16th season of TUF, and it is going to return to the taped format after showing live fights earlier this year.
