Ryan Bader proved that he knows how to learn from a loss by rebounding from two defeats to top Quinton “Rampage” Jackson earlier this year. Saturday night, Bader was defeated by Lyoto Machida at UFC on Fox: Shogun vs. Vera.
Machida caught Bader coming in and dropped the former winner of The Ultimate Fighter in the second round. With the win, Machida placed himself in line for a future UFC light heavyweight title shot.
Bader, however, knows that he can rebound. Last year, “Darth” was stopped by Jon Jones and Tito Ortiz, but he scored a knockout over Jason Brilz before earning a decision against Jackson.
“Tough fight, props to Machida,” Bader posted on Twitter. “I’m ok and I am gonna get back at it. Love my fans, family, camp and friends.”
