Luke Rockhold and Tim Kennedy will finally square off inside the cage, as Rockhold defends his Strikeforce middleweight title Saturday night against Kennedy. The bout will serve as the main event to Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy.
Rockhold hit the scale a half-pound over. He will have two hours to get down. Kennedy, meanwhile, came in at 184.5 and is good to go.
-UPDATE- Rockhold returned to the scale and hit 185, making the contest official.
In the co-main event Nate Marquardt and Tyron Woodley will meet for the vacant Strikeforce welterweight title. Marquardt is a veteran of the UFC, while Woodley is undefeated in his MMA career.
Marquardt had trouble with his weight in the past, but came in under the 170-pound limit at 169.5. Woodley also weighed in at the same 169.5.
