Michael Bisping was one of the few that witnessed Chris Weidman’s victory over Mark Munoz Wednesday night and was not impressed. The fight was the main event of UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman.
Bisping, who has been pushing himself for a future title shot against UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, sounded off via Twitter after the fight.
“Weidman looked great last night. But no1 contender? If that’s the case I want to fight him and prove I’m the number 1 contender. Let’s do it,” Bisping posted.
“The Count” has called out the likes of Brian Stann and Alan Belcher in the past few weeks, and both have accepted the offer. However, nothing has been made official by the UFC as for a match with Bisping involved.
