UFC Hall Of Fame Has No Interest To Quinton “Rampage” Jackson

One fighter who doesn’t care if the UFC decides to place him in the hall of fame is former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Jackson recently agreed to face Glover Teixeira at UFC 153 this coming October.

Former UFC 205-pound champion Tito Ortiz was recently inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, becoming the ninth member. That honor doesn’t interest Jackson, as he told FightHub TV in a recent interview.

“I don’t care to be in the UFC Hall of Fame,” Jackson said.

Over the past couple of years, the relationship between the UFC and “Rampage” has soured, with the fighter pushing to have his contract finished out as soon as possible so he could leave. The UFC tried to place Jackson in a match with Mauricio “Shogun” Rua earlier this year, but Jackson opted for double-knee surgery.

This coming fight with Teixeira will be the final one on the contract of Jackson, likely ending his career inside the Octagon.
