Ortiz will be competing in his retirement bout. The former UFC light heavyweight champion will not have a win bonus for his fight. His opponent, Griffin, will earn $125,000 and can score an additionl $150,000 by winning.
The headliners, Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen, will meet for the UFC middleweight title. Silva has a flat salary of $200,000, while Sonnen is set to earn $50,000 with an additionl $50,000 by winning.
Cung Le has a salary of $150,000 for his fight with Patrick Cote, while Cote has $21,000 to fight and can earn another $21,000 by winning.
