ESPN officially announced the athletes they have selected to appear in their upcoming The Body issue, and Strikeforce women’s champion Ronda Rousey is among them. The issue will hit newsstands on July 13.
Rousey continues the trend of MMA fighters to appear in the magazine, which showcases athletes nude, but with their hands and objects placed in the key areas.
UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Gina Carano have both appeared in the magazine in the past few years.
Rousey is the lone MMA athlete selected, joining the likes of NFL star Maurice Jones-Drew, WNBA standout Candice Parker, MLB superstar Jose Bautista and seven members of the USA Olympic volleyball team.
Rousey is slated to defend her title against Sarah Kaufman later this year on Showtime. She defeated Miesha Tate for the belt via submission.
