Georges St-Pierre has yet to confirm his return to the Octagon, but the UFC is looking for the welterweight champion to head back to work at UFC 154 against interim champ Carlos Condit. The card takes place November 17 from Montreal’s Bell Centre.
Along with GSP-Condit, a likely No. 1 contender match between Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann is also being planned.
St-Pierre has been out of action since last year, undergoing knee surgery suffered in training for a bout with Nick Diaz. Condit stepped in and faced Diaz, claiming the interim title and waiting on the sidelines to unify the belt with GSP.
Hendricks and Kampmann have both claimed big wins over the past few months to cement their status in the division. Hendricks has bested Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck, while Kampmann has stopped Thiago Alves and Jake Ellenberger.
