Bantamweight prospect Michael McDonald, who many thought could be in line for a shot at the interim UFC title, has signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC. McDonald’s manager, Tom Call of Impact Fighting Management, confirmed the signing with MMAjunkie.com.
McDonald (15-1) has won all four of his UFC fights, including eight consecutive victories overall. Among his UFC wins include triumphs over Edwin Figueroa, Alex Soto and Miguel Torres.
McDonald debuted at 16 years old, winning the Tachi Palace Fights championship. The 21-year-old is awaiting word on his next opponent.
