“UFC 146: Dos Santos Vs. Mir” Medical Suspensions Issued

Several of the key components from this past Saturday’s UFC 146: Dos Santos vs. Mir event were issued severe medical suspensions. Chief among them was a suspension until November for Cain Velasquez.

Velasquez defeated Antonio Silva, but possibly suffered a broken hand in the process. If that is the case, the No. 1 contender in the UFC’s heavyweight division could face a long stay on the sidelines.

Silva, Frank Mir, Jason “Mayhem” Miller and several others were also issued suspensions for their efforts, according to a release issued to MMAWeekly.com.
