UFC president Dana White has laid out his plans for holding The Ultimate Fighter reality show in several countries, with the shows culminating in something of a TUF World Cup.
With the show’s first international installment, The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, already underway, the promotion has no intention to slow down. At last night’s UFC on FUEL TV 2 post-fight press conference, White informed the media of what countries are currently on deck to host TUF.
“Well, the next Ultimate Fighter that we’re working on, whichever one ends up going first, is going to be India,” White revealed. “We’re doing one in Australia which will probably be Australia vs. the U.K.. Doing Canada, doing the Phillipines, I think, and god knows whatever else pops up over the next couple of months.
“We’re really rolling right now on The Ultimate Fighter. The one in Brazil is a huge success. Europe will be Australia vs. the U.K..”
Currently, The Ultimate Fighter: Live is trying out a new format on a new home Stateside, while TUF: Brazil airs in the standard, pre-taped format.
